Sherman Oaks CES put another one in the bag  on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Hawkins Hawks get on the board and left with  a   25-0  win. While the Knights didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-10-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

 Stella Brewer was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. With that strong performance,  she is now averaging an impressive 5.4  strikeouts per game. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with six  RBI, three  doubles,  and two  runs. Those  three  doubles gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Reyn Campbell, who  scored four  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances. What's more,  she posted three  RBI, the most she's  had since back in March of 2024.  Sophia Pirayesh also deserves some recognition as  she  hit her first  triple of the season.
 Sherman Oaks CES  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .881. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Sherman Oaks CES' victory was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 5-0. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 15.8 runs over those games. As for Hawkins,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
 Coming up, Sherman Oaks CES will face off against Taft at 2:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Hawkins, they will welcome University Pathways Public Service Academy  at 3:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The  match will  give Hawkins their first taste of in-conference action this season.
