Stansbury was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Taylorsville apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2016.
Taylorsville's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Marlee Reupena, who scored 17 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Reupena has scored at least 25% of Taylorsville's points. Alyssa Harrison was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Stansbury's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Taylorsville, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stansbury will take on Grantsville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Grantsville presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Stansbury in Utah (Grantsville is ranked fifth, while Stansbury is ranked 83rd). As for Taylorsville, they will head out on the road to face off against Murray at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
