The Overhills Jaguars scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Western Harnett 67-30 at home. That looming 67-30 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Overhills yet this season.
Overhills had a senior duo take command as Corshon Stewart scored 11 points along with five rebounds and Chauncy Kelly scored eight points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Ej Stokes, who scored eight points.
The victory got Overhills back to even at 5-5. As for Western Harnett, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
Overhills will head out on the road to face off against Westover at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Westover has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 544 points over their last eight games. As for Western Harnett, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Triton at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Triton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 28 on Friday.
