The Daystar Academy Falcons's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Islamic Foundation Chargers at 6:30 p.m. on February 1st. Daystar Academy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 20 points in their last four games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 48-20, which was the final score in Daystar Academy's tilt against the Fire two weeks ago.
Meanwhile, Islamic Foundation's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 12th straight defeat. The contest between them and Schaumburg Christian wasn't particularly close, with Islamic Foundation falling 82-63. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Daystar Academy's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-4. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 17.0 points per game. As for Islamic Foundation, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-13.
