Meanwhile, Kennedy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by Kolbe-Cathedral at home and fell 89-54. While losing is never fun, Kennedy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 125th, while Kolbe-Cathedral is ranked fourth).
St. Paul Catholic's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Kennedy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11.
