Eric Myles Delivers Best Performance of Season
Sadly, Eric Myles posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Enochs over Gregori on Friday. Myles rushed for 269 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 14.9 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 65 yards.
Enochs is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5. Myles and Enochs will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Downey at 7:00 p.m. on October 24th.

Gregori's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to Emmanuel Vasquez
Emmanuel Vasquez helped snap Gregori's five-game losing streak. Vasquez was dynamite on Friday, making three total tackles.
Gregori's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5. Vasquez and Gregori will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Pitman at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.

Scout Silva's big game helped extend Turlock's winning streak to three on Friday. Nobody could stop Silva as he threw for 314 yards and six touchdowns while completing 81.3% of his passes.
Turlock now has a winning record of 4-3. Silva and Turlock will take on Downey at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Carson Lamb Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Carson Lamb was instrumental in extending Downey's winning streak to seven on Friday. Lamb made a major impact, throwing for 406 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. The performance once again pushed his average passing yardage north of 300 yards per game (309.6). He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last six games he's played dating back to last season.
Modesto had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Lamb it was a similar story. Lamb threw for 397 yards and six touchdowns while completing 90.9% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground the last time he and the Panthers duked it out back in October of 2023.

Alton Williams Puts an End to Gregori's Losing Streak on Friday
Alton Williams helped snap Gregori's five-game losing streak. Enochs had no answer to Williams on Friday as he picked up 79 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 135 yards while picking up 7.1 yards per carry.
On the year, Williams has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 32.3 receiving yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after six games last season, he was only averaging 1.67 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 108.5 rushing yards.
