Blake Smith Crosses Big Stat Threshold
On Thursday, Westview got the W thanks in part to Blake Smith playing the best football he has all season. Smith rushed for 206 yards on only 12 carries. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (107.9) per game. Those 206 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
The victory made it two in a row for Westview and bumps their season record up to 5-2. Smith and Westview will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Millard West on October 25th.

Luke Shaffar's Rushing Yards a New Career-High
