Manor is 1-0 against Vista Ridge since October of 2022, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Manor Mustangs will look to defend their home field against the Vista Ridge Rangers at 7:00 p.m. Manor will be strutting in after a victory while Vista Ridge will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Friday, Manor strolled past Cedar Ridge with points to spare, taking the game 37-23.
Titus Petteway was the offensive standout of the matchup as he rushed for 125 yards and two touchdowns. Jayson Zardavets was another key contributor, throwing for 170 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.4% of his passes.
Manor's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB five times. Leading the way was Damien Godley and his two sacks.
Meanwhile, Vista Ridge fell victim to Stony Point's stalwart defense on Thursday and couldn't make it onto the board. They fell 7-0 to the Tigers. It was the first time this season that Vista Ridge let down their fans at home.
Manor now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Vista Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.
Manor strolled past Vista Ridge when the teams last played back in October of 2022 by a score of 21-7. Will Manor repeat their success, or does Vista Ridge have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
