Rockwood got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ty'varion Pryor out in front who scored 31 points along with six assists and six rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Pryor has scored at least a third of Rockwood's points. Jaylon Reed was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds.
Midway dropped their record down to 6-11 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. That rough patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for Rockwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Midway will take on Rockwood at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Rockwood will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Midway surely won't give up without a fight. As for Rockwood, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Oakdale at 8:00 p.m. on February 6th. Oakdale has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 427 points over their last six contests.
