Watford City had trouble last Friday, and unfortunately for them, their opponent this week is a big step up in difficulty. On Friday they take on Central Cass at 7:00 PM. Watford City come in off of four low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.
Watford City didn't finish too far behind, but the team still lost 6-11 to Grafton/St. Thomas/Drayton.
Meanwhile, Central Cass faced Shanley in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Central Cass took a hard 22-40 fall against Shanley. Central Cass' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the victory. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
