Yuma came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Byers Bulldogs 18-8. Considering the Outlaws have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Marvin Duarte, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Lennox Huwa, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Yuma pushed their record up to 16-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Byers, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-10.

As of now, neither Yuma nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
