There's no place like home for Gridley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past the Live Oak Lions 12-2 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 15 matches by six runs or more so far this season.
Kaydenze Pruitt made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. Pruitt was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Gridley got a massive performance out of Chevie Crislip, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Alexis Alcantar, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Gridley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. They are 15-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
