Akron's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-6. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Albion, they now have a losing record of 8-9.
Albion's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Akron has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .436. It's a different story for Albion, though, as they've only averaged .343. Will they be able to contain Akron's hitters?
