After the first week of play, the Gaels are in the top spot, followed by Mater Dei and St. John Bosco. Bishop Gorman will meet St. John Bosco on Sept. 9 while Mater Dei and St. John Bosco meet on Oct. 21.
Regional rankings are based on the
MaxPreps Computer Rankings,
presented by the Army National Guard. The West Region consists of teams
from Hawaii, Alaska, Colorado, Wyoming, California, Oregon, Washington,
Idaho, Montana and Utah.
