The Christian Academy of Knoxville Warriors will head out on the road to challenge Providence Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Christian Academy of Knoxville has four straight wins, Providence Academy has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Last Friday, Christian Academy of Knoxville didn't have too much trouble with King's Academy on the road as they won 52-36.
Bennett Simerlein was his usual excellent self, scoring 17 points. Bryson White was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Providence Academy lost to Grace Christian Academy on the road by a decisive 51-37 margin on Tuesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Providence Academy has scored all season.
Christian Academy of Knoxville has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-11 record this season. As for Providence Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.
Christian Academy of Knoxville came up short against Providence Academy when the teams last played back in February of 2023, falling 47-42. Can Christian Academy of Knoxville avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
