AAA Region IV recap October 8, 2013
Chapin was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in AAA Region IV. Earlier in the week, the Eagles triumphed over Westwood 29-21.
Camden and Flora played the most contested game in the league this week, with Camden eventually emerging with a 34-33 victory.
The Redhawks' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Chris Patterson threw for 96 and 1 touchdown and Vyncint Smith had 116 yards receiving. On the ground Christian Brown chipped in 116 yards. Malik Harris helped Westwood's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 11 yards.

Westwood's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Redhawks feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Patterson has thrown for 515 yards and 4 touchdowns this season, while Adonus Lee has 21 catches for 317 yards.
Two of the top units in AAA Region IV will face off this week when Rodney Summers' team takes on Dreher. The Redhawks' offense has scored 131 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while the Blue Devils have allowed only 75 on the year.
The Bulldogs are in second place, while Lower Richland is in third place.
The Eagles made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,906 from 5,201. The improvement was the result of a 29-21 victory over Westwood last week.
