The West Windsor-Plainsboro South Pirates will venture away from home to challenge the Trenton Central Tornadoes at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. West Windsor-Plainsboro South is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last six times West Windsor-Plainsboro South and Ewing have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Monday. West Windsor-Plainsboro South came out on top against Ewing by a score of 14-10. The Pirates' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Bennett Siegel made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Siegel was even better at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. Those three runs gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, West Windsor-Plainsboro South got a massive performance out of Matt Raeter, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That run marked the first that Raeter scored this season. Xander Rudisill was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

West Windsor-Plainsboro South was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .406. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Trenton Central came up short against Hopewell Valley Central on Monday, falling 12-4.

Trenton Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for West Windsor-Plainsboro South, the victory also got them back to even at 2-2.

West Windsor-Plainsboro South couldn't quite finish off Trenton Central in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 and fell 4-2. Can West Windsor-Plainsboro South avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
