Houghton entered their tilt with Hancock on Wednesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 13-3 victory. While the Gremlins didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-8), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Houghton's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games.
