Decatur Community came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the St. Francis Indians. That's the fifth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-0 victory last Saturday.

While Decatur Community won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-23.

Brylee Minnick paced Decatur Community's offense, picking up 13 kills. Minnick got some help from Lauren May and her 13 assists. Elsie Larson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Decatur Community's win bumped their record up to 18-16. As for St. Francis, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-28-3.

Decatur Community didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Ness City on the 21st. As for St. Francis, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Osborne on the 21st.
