Marshall has enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Proctor Rails at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Marshall's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last nine games.
Marshall pushed their score all the way to 63 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 76-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pillager. Marshall has not had much luck with Pillager recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meanwhile, Proctor's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They took a hard 71-53 fall against Cromwell.
Marshall now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Proctor, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-16.
Marshall lost to Proctor on the road by a decisive 65-47 margin in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. Can Marshall avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
