Hamburg extended their winning streak to eight on Friday, bumping their season record up to 15-2 in the process. They never let the Daniel Boone Blazers get on the board and left with a 19-0 victory. The Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 contests by six runs or more this season.

As for Daniel Boone, they dropped their record down to 3-14 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, their shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

For Daniel Boone's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Vanessa Eardley, who went 1-for-3 with one double.
