 In other batting news,  Faith Pederson was a standout: she scored three  runs and  stole four bases while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances. She has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last seven times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Johanna Hampton, who  scored four  runs and  stole five bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 Goldwater is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven games,  which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record  this season. As for Dysart, they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-11.
 Goldwater will head out on the road to  face off against  Estrella Foothills at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Both teams will come into the  match having just posted big wins, so someone is set to suffer a big change in fortunes. As for Dysart, they will be playing at home against Cortez at 3:45  p.m.  on Tuesday.
