Hanover 7-4.
Central York made the biggest jump in the standings this week, moving from tenth to fifth place in York Area 1 2 thanks to a 0-2 record over the past seven days. Meanwhile, the Mustangs fell hardest in the standings, dropping from third all the way to ninth place after going 0-1 in the past week.
Spring Grove (2-0, 1-0) is the No. 1 team in the league.
Red Lion's pitching staff had a strong showing this week, allowing only nine hits and ten walks, both of which led the league.
The week's strikeout crown belonged to
Anthony Lippy, who turned in six Ks for New Oxford. He's third in the league with eight total strikeouts.
Austin Kibler's .556 batting average (5-for-9) for the Colonials was the best in the league this week. He's batting .417 on the year, which puts him at fourth in the league. Kibler has accumulated five base knocks this year so far.
Jake Toal drove in five runners on Monday in New Oxford's 8-6 victory over South Western. He went 3-for-4 and scored one run.
Cody Godfrey struck out 11 in the Lions' 6-1 win over
Daniel Boone on April 1. He gave up three hits and one run over seven innings of work.
