North Putnam waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Western Boone Stars by a score of 55-45. This was payback for the Cougars, who suffered a 45-43 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Several Stars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Olivia Reagan, who went 7 for 12 en route to 16 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ally Lewis, who posted 12 points and five steals.

North Putnam's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Western Boone, they dropped their record down to 7-11 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Putnam will venture away from home to take on West Vigo at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Western Boone, they will challenge Speedway at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
