Phoenix lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the defeat they were handed on on Friday was a bit more commanding. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 70-50 walloping at the hands of Marcellus. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Phoenix in their matchups with Marcellus: they've now lost three in a row.
Jordan-Elbridge has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Phoenix, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
Jordan-Elbridge came up short against Phoenix when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 59-48. Can Jordan-Elbridge avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
