Hill Freedman World Academy never got on the board in their matchup two weeks ago, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Masterman on Thursday. They breezed by the on the road to the tune of 65-34. That looming 65-34 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Hill Freedman World Academy yet this season.
Jaiden Copeland was his usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with eight rebounds and eight steals. The game was his third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Darius Frazier, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
Despite the loss, Masterman still got an impressive performance from Yuji Harrington, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds. The game was Harrington's seventh in a row with at least ten points.
Hill Freedman World Academy is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Masterman, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Hill Freedman World Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Nueva Esperanza at 3:15 p.m. on January 9th. Nueva Esperanza will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 654th, while Hill Freedman World Academy is ranked 320th). As for Masterman, they will be playing at home against Mastery Charter Hardy Williams at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Mastery Charter Hardy Williams comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
