Volleyball Recap: Riverbend Academy Has No Trouble Against Trinity Christian Academy

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against First Baptist Christian Academy, Riverbend Academy was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Trinity Christian Academy Eagles. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Eagles back in August, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

While Riverbend Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 27-25, 25-19.

Riverbend Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

Riverbend Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Warner Christian Academy on the 23rd. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Central Florida Christian Academy on the 23rd.
