Carbon's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Emery Spartans 4-3. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Dinos also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Carbon saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kanon Childs, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI Childs has posted since back in March. Another was Logan Madrigal, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Carbon is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-13 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Emery, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

Emery will head out to face off against Delta at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Carbon will be paying especially close attention to the Spartans' contest: after the Spartans face off against the Rabbits, they'll take on Carbon again at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
