Alexandria City hasn't had much luck against Woodson recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Titans will venture away from home to challenge the Cavaliers at 6:30 p.m. Alexandria City is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.
Alexandria City will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Edison on Wednesday. Hannah Steedman made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Steedman was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with four RBI and two doubles. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.

Alexandria City has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-8 record this season. Woodson's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Alexandria City has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.9 hits per game. Alexandria City beat Woodson 12-9 when the teams last played back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
