After some red-hot offensive attacks in their last four matches, the West Point Warriors finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They were the victim of a tough 5-0 defeat at the hands of Wetumpka. The loss was West Point's first of the season.
West Point's defeat dropped their record down to 3-1-1. As for Wetumpka, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.
West Point will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Haleyville at 5:00 p.m. As for Wetumpka, they will head out on the road to challenge Prattville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
