The California City Ravens will head out on the road to face off against the Rosamond Roadrunners at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one:  the pair posted some lofty  point totals in their previous games.
 California City scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Friday. They snuck past Arvin with a  61-55 victory. With that  win, California City brought their scoring average up to 50.1  points per game.
 California City relied on the efforts of   Darrius Brown, who  dropped  a double-double on 15 points and ten  rebounds, and   Cassius 'Hollywood' Brown , who  scored 19 points. The  game was  Brown 's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was  Avery Spears, who  scored eight points.
 Meanwhile, the third road  game was the charm for Rosamond, as they earned their first road win of the season. They blew past Mammoth 77-57.
 Rosamond's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Andrew Arredondo led the charge by  scoring 24 points. The  contest was  Arredondo's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Fabian Robles, who  scored 18 points.
 The  win was  the fourth in a row for California City, bringing their record for this year to 4-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for Rosamond,  the  win  got them back to even at 5-5.
This contest  is shaping up to be a blowout:  California City hasn't had any problem running up the score this season,  having  only  averaged 50.1 points per game. It's a different story for Rosamond, though, as  they've been averaging  only 59 points per game. The only thing between California City and another offensive beatdown is Rosamond. Will they be able to keep them contained?
 California City might still be hurting after the  86-64 defeat they got from Rosamond  in their previous matchup  back in January. Can California City avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
