Audrey Likins made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, she posted four strikeouts, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run.
In other batting news, South Laurel let Kenzie Williams and Bailey Frazier run wild. Williams scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2, while Frazier scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. That's the most runs Williams has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Baker, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.
South Laurel is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
