The team also got some help courtesy of Kiley Earle, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Discovery bumped their record down to 3-9 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.0 points per game. As for McKeel Academy, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Discovery will square off against Sebring at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. McKeel Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Ridgeview Global Studies Academy at 5:45 p.m. on January 19th. Hopefully Ridgeview Global Studies Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 30 last Wednesday.
