Vintage won against Orestimba on Thursday with nine runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. Everything went the Crushers' way against the St. Francis Troubadours as they made off with a 9-3 win. Angie Rubalcava was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing six innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Malina Viruet, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2024.
