Douglas County's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Christian Richards, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Milton Gibbs, who scored 13 points.
Douglas County is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season. As for East Paulding, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-18.
