McDonald got a massive performance out of Ruger Komives, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Those three RBI gave Komives a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Srock, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
McDonald always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive matchups.
