Given Chittenango's advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 215th, while Fayetteville-Manlius is ranked 522nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Ryan Moesch was his usual excellent self, scoring 29 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The contest was his tenth in a row with at least ten points. Jack Lamphere was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with three blocks.
Chittenango is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Fayetteville-Manlius, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Chittenango won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Johnson City at 8:00 p.m. on December 29, 2023.
