Campbell County has not had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Campbell County had strong showings from Luke Browning, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds, and Gavin Cox, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jordan Day, who scored six points along with three steals.
Campbell County has not been sharp recently as the team's lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season. As for Powell, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-2.
Both teams will face off at 6:00 p.m. on February 1st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Campbell County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Tuesday.
