After a string of four wins, DeKalb's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They received a blow as they fell 40-22 to the Norwell Knights. Having soared to a lofty 62 points in the game before, the Barons couldn't push the score so high this time.

DeKalb's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Norwell, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. DeKalb will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lakewood Park Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Norwell and Noblesville will round out the year against one another at at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Noblesville will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Norwell surely won't give up without a fight.
