Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 64-28, which was the final score in Nordonia's tilt against Stow-Munroe Falls on Friday. Nordonia was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-11.
Meanwhile, Kenston came up short against Chagrin Falls on Saturday and fell 44-36.
Despite their loss, Kenston saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Morgan Cicek, who scored 13 points, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Aurora Young, who scored five points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Nordonia couldn't quite finish off Kenston in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 and fell 51-48.
