If Sarcoxie were riding high off their 42-20 takedown of Greenfield last Friday, that ride came to an abrupt end. Sarcoxie took a 14-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of Miller.
The loss dropped Sarcoxie back to even at 3-3. The victory bumped Miller's record up to 5-1.
Sarcoxie will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Marionville. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game. As for Miller, they will face off against Lockwood/Golden City. Both of those teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous games.
