After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Western Sierra Collegiate Academy, Sacramento Country Day was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Cristo Rey Saints 62-27. The Cavaliers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 21 points or more this season.

Sacramento Country Day found their leader in sophomore Ryan Scripps, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 17 points along with eight assists and six boards. Scripps has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Riley Ruttan was another key player, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds.

Sacramento Country Day's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-10. As for Cristo Rey, they are on a 27-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Sacramento Country Day didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 74-61 victory against Buckingham Charter on the 31st. Cristo Rey has also already played their next contest, a 96-21 defeat against John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills on the 1st.
