The biggest upset of the week belonged to Southern, who took down 31st ranked Orange, 31-24.
The Spartans extended the longest winning streak in 3A Conference 11 this week by beating the Panthers, 31-24. The win marks 12th in a row for the Southern.
6-foot-2 quarterback Shawn Stankavage of Cardinal Gibbons is the league leader in passing yards this season with 3,302. He has also thrown 33 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Maurice Trowell. The Southern star has 70 catches for 1,370 yards.
Stankavage has rushed for 987 yards on 144 carries so far this year.
So far this year, he has garnered 65 catches for 929 yards.
Adrian Jones' team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 31 points on Orange.
