Springfield has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Northwest Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Even though Springfield has not done well against the Ravens recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Springfield enjoyed a cozy 53-37 victory over the Ravens. That looming 53-37 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Springfield yet this season.
It was another big night for Anthony Ahern, who scored 24 points along with three steals. Collin Siegferth was another key contributor, scoring four points along with five assists and two steals.
Meanwhile, Northwest came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 62-14 win over Fairless at home. That 48 point margin sets a new team best for Northwest this season.
Springfield's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Northwest, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.
