Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Habersham Central). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 39-36 win over the Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Raiders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Habersham Central's victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4. As for Winder-Barrow, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Habersham Central will challenge Alcovy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Winder-Barrow, they will host Monroe Area at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
