Kendall Armstrong posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances.
