The Bell Eagles entered their tilt with the Moreno Valley Vikings with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Bell narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Moreno Valley 52-50.
When it comes to explaining why Moreno Valley lost on Thursday, one person who can't be blamed is Jaden Collins. Despite the final result, he scored 14 points along with five assists and five steals. Collins continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamall Thompson, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds.
Bell now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Moreno Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.
Bell and Polytechnic will face off at 11:00 a.m. on January 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Polytechnic is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games. Moreno Valley is on the road again on Friday and play against Temescal Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on January 5th. Temescal Canyon will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
