The Lowell Catholic Crusaders waltzed into their game on Friday with four straight wins but they left with five. They put the hurt on Collegiate Charter School of Lowell with a sharp 52-27 win. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 36-11.
Leading Lowell Catholic to victory were Janae Holmes and Rylie Hogan. Holmes scored ten points, while Hogan scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was Miley Lopez, who scored seven points.
Lowell Catholic is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Collegiate Charter School of Lowell, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-6.
