Softball Recap: Technology Comes Up Short

Technology lost against Credo back in May of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Technology came up short against Credo, falling 30-18. Even though they lost, the Titans' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 7 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Isabella Dewald led a balanced group of hitters, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. Anam Tariq also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Even though they lost, Technology always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Technology's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-6. That patch can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Credo, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Technology will face off against rival Tomales at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Credo is set to square off against their familiar foe Laytonville at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
