The Hardee Wildcats's three-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They breezed by Oasis Christian on the road to the tune of 46-12. The victory was just what Hardee needed coming off of a 58-24 defeat in their prior contest.
Jazlynn Jones was the offensive standout of the game as she dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. Those 11 rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Tylia Graham, who scored ten points along with seven steals.
Hardee's victory ended a eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5. As for Oasis Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.
Hardee won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Sebring at 7:00 p.m. on December 15th. Hopefully Sebring focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Thursday. As for Oasis Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Pasco at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
